The doctrine of the last things—death, judgment, resurrection, the Kingdom of God. For Zizioulas eschatology is not merely about the future end of time but about the end (telos) that gives meaning to history now. The Kingdom is already present as foretaste in the Eucharist; the future is “remembered” in the anamnesis. Eschatology conditions history, not the reverse.
