(Synodality)
The principle that the Church makes binding decisions through councils (synods) of bishops gathered in the Holy Spirit. Conciliarity is not a parliamentary system but the ecclesial expression of Trinitarian life—unity in diversity. The 34th Apostolic Canon expresses its logic: no bishop may act without the first, nor the first without the others.
